I have always loved the original and this is a fantastic HD update! Everything about it feels fresh and ready for iPad play, I especially love the new sprites and art work.

Latest update has broken the game the frame rate is extremely low everything is very laggy and just very very slow

I before had played Japanese version so I this time wanted to play English one. So I set my iPhone language as English. Afterward I wanted to get back to Japanese for a while so set it Japanese. But Bartzs name remained English so it looked very ridiculous. There are namingways in FF4 and rename cards in FF6 but nothing in FF5. I think you should put an option to change Bartzs name at least for multi language users.

Final Fantasy is one of those games that can easily dominate the Role Playing charts on any system. A good refresh of the classic.

I have made it all the way to the moogle forest and have opened all of the chests in the village but it will not let me teleport to val castle

Its an excellent game, with a fun job system and everything mechanically that a good Final Fantasy needs. The story is goofy, but a forgiving soul could see it as endearing. However: support for the iPhone 5 screen size and iCloud support would go a long way towards convincing me to actually finish it. Verdict: its worth the money, but youre likely better off trying to find the GBA port if you can. If you want FF on your phone "just because" like I did, then go for it. You wont be disappointed.

Drop your prices to some sort of sale FF1 over priced and chrono trigger broken/out of date majority have 4 inch screens! 1 star review all all purchases until you update chrono trigger ff and ff2! Us fans deserve it! Please do the same every one to express your disappointment! We want FF7 and chrono cross!

I didn’t play the Final Fantasy games when they first came out, but I’m going back and playing them now. Hardcore nostalgics will gnash teeth and beat chests lamenting the loss of the pixelated graphics, but in my opinion the new design and look is BEAUTIFUL. A lot of little things here and there really help this game to shine, and while it isn’t a groundbreaking new experience which will shatter your beliefs and conceptions of what technology can do, it’s still a great game that’s definitely worth your while.

Final fantasy is amazing game and its in SNES version. So its more like a venture and more dungeons with fore crystals of light and dark. A lots of jobs and abilities thats is awesome and two worlds. FF V A is awesome wow and I am a fan of final fantasy series even final fantasy V. One thing like I said and all of app reviews of FF well almost. iCloud if you put iCloud not just on FF V but on all FF series on apps store. Thank you square enix I would add not just five stars but 5 million stars to final fantasy games. Thank you

Not only is this the best app Ive ever played, it is also one of the best videogames in general that Ive ever played! I couldnt recommend it more!

The game is a good port. I have a distant memory that the original UI used to tell you more detail about each jobs skill, how much till you learn them, and whats coming next. This UI seems basic. I run into the problem of my team members attacking each other more then once. They are not charmed. Some how I lock onto a team member as a target. I love the auto mode. I found a bug that makes the game crash every time. I have the iPad model before the air. During the event in Castle Tycoon - Storehouse when the chancellor gives you the Healing Staff. After he walks off the screen the game crashes. Happens every time.

This has been one of my all-time favorite video games ever since I got it. And when I saw the first few Final Fantasies (say THAT ten times fast) on the app store...need I say more? It is as good, nay, better than ever with the new graphics.

Music great. I love how its for iPhone iPad and iPod. Wish you could transfer your data. Love the graphics and characters.

Im five hours in and its a great ride. I played 4 and 6 on SNES when I was a kid and this is my first time playing 5. Loving the job system. I wish these werent so expensive but they really are some of the best games on the entire App Store. They gameplay on the iPhone is smooth and this game plays just fine on the iPhone 6. It doesnt quite full up the entire screen but that doesnt really matter. Its final fantasy! And I havent noticed a single glitch.

Iv been playing the game for about 20 hours now I love every second but i dont earn Gil anymore when I get more Gil it subtracts and I cannot progress in the game

The app needs to be optimized for the higher resolution on the new iPhone 6. Dont buy if you have a new iPhone.
